Big Island Mike's Immersion Excursion are authentic Hawaiian vacations run by Mike Mapu on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Mike Mapu opened is Immersion Excursion with the intention that participants work and play like real native Hawaiians. They can make seashell necklaces and trade them for "Big Island Bucks" which can be used to buy shave ice, play the Wiki Tiki arcade game, use the information center, or buy more beads, bait or souvenirs. They can also go fishing for more Big Island Bucks and go snorkeling for more shells.
Pua Mapu also provides surfing lessons.
