Hans Felersinger is a phone character in Mystery of the Seven Keys. He is the CEO of SecondShine, the company that stored Adela Čzerná's necklace.
Biography[]
In 2012, Hans founded SecondShine, a Munich-based company that became a worldwide commercial seller of luxury goods, including jewelry.
According to a magazine found in Vladéna Zlatý's store, Hans underwent some controversy for refusing to disclose his financials at SecondShine and initially not using the DEGAS system to catalog jewelry. SecondShine eventually did use DEGAS and appears to still be doing fine financially.
During Mystery of the Seven Keys, Adela Čzerná hires Nancy Drew to investigate the case of the forged gems in Adela's necklace after she stored it through SecondShine. After Nancy finds Hans' phone number through SecondShine's website given by Adela, Nancy calls Hans under the pretense of a journalist, asking about SecondShine's procedures. Hans gets frustrated at Nancy after she suggests an issue with the DEGAS system got Adela's necklace's jewels replaced with fakes, hanging up after he suggests Nancy to talk to his lawyer instead. Nancy contacts her lawyer dad Carson Drew and boyfriend Ned Nickerson to look more into Hans and SecondShine.
In the end, Carson and Ned finds no incriminating evidence on Hans or his company, leading Nancy to investigate Adela herself.
Trivia[]
- Hans became somewhat of a meme among the Nancy Drew community with the phrase "Hans is real" as the game was being teased. The phrase was officially used by HeR Interactive when confirming the character's presence in-game.
Quotes[]
- "I run a reputable company, and could not stay in business otherwise. We have had not one complaint through DEGAS. If you have anything further to say, you can talk to my lawyer, Ms. Drew."
