Kane Okala is a legendary figure in Hawaiian mythology.

According to legend, Kane Okala (Hawaiian for "rough-skinned man") was thrown into the volcano of Kapu Cave thousands of years ago to appease the fiery goddess of volcanoes, Pele. However, he somehow survived, albeit severely damaged. He reportedly haunted the surrounding area ever since, seeking vengeance.
