LeVar Burton is an actor who portrays Barclay in The CW series Tom Swift and had a cameo appearance in its backdoor pilot The Celestial Visitor.[1]

LaVar Burton is an actor and television host who began his career in 1976. He most notably portrayed Geordi La Forge in Star Trek: The Next Generation. He has a renowned career in both film and television. He hosted Reading Rainbow for over 20 years, is a 12-time Emmy-award winning television host, Peabody and Grammy award winner, NAACP winner, and Hollywood Walk of Fame honoree. He is also a director and author.
He guest starred in Nancy Drew as the voice of Barclay, as part of a backdoor pilot for Tom Swift. He than became a series regular in Tom Swift.
