Nancy Drew: The Musical is a Nancy Drew stage musical that was in development in 2018. In the story, an adult Nancy Drew goes on a cruise with her family.
Nancy Drew: The Musical was written by Jeremy Desmon and Jeff Thomson and directed by Lorin Latarro, and it was officially developed in conjunction with Simon & Schuster. It had an invitation-only reading on October 22, 2018 in New York City starring Betsy Wolfe and Judy McLane, but the musical has never had a public performance.
There have been no updates on the development after the initial announcements in 2018. With the 2023 production announcement of the new Nancy Drew musical Nancy Drew and the Mystery at Spotlight Manor: A Musical, it's unknown if Nancy Drew: The Musical will proceed.

In this updated version, Nancy's no longer an 18-year-old with a flashlight and magnifying glass... she's now in her 60s and a world-famous detective — those books on everyone's shelves are her true-life adventures. Nancy has a daughter and a granddaughter, and the musical follows these three generations of women as they tackle the one mystery that often eludes us all: our families.[4]
