Nancy Drew: is an eighteen-year-old amateur detective in the first series of Nancy Drew books the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories.


Nancy is often described as an attractive, slender, strawberry blond.

In the first novel, Nancy is described as "an attractive girl of eighteen" with blonde hair and blue eyes.[1][2] In later novels, her hair is described as "titian-blond" (and shade of reddish-blonde).[3][4]


Nancy lives with her father, Carson Drew, and their housekeeper, Hannah Gruen in River Heights. Her friends George Fayne, Bess Marvin, and Helen Archer assist her in her cases. Ned Nickerson, Drew's boyfriend, helps her out as well.
