Plot summary[]
Agent Park arrives in Horseshoe Bay to investigate the recent murders involving victims having frozen hearts. Nancy offers to help with the case, but Agent Park turns her down since she's too close to the situation.
Nancy investigates anyway, which leads to her accidentally stepping on a trigger in a room booby-trapped with pipe bombs. Agent Park enters and assesses the situation. Nancy tells him to leave but he does not. When Nancy shifts, beginning the trigger for the bombs, Park throws her down and behind a table, which shields them from most of the blast. He later questions Nancy about the incident, and Nancy notices that his hands are shaking, which he attributes to adrenaline.
